{Filling a Void}

Do you ever find yourself staring at that blank space in the hallway or above the mantlepiece? I look at a spare space on a wall as a blank canvas, a space wanting to be filled!  I have covered many a wall space with a collage of mirrors, vintage frame, invitations and festival tickets, modern frames with my treasure family photographs within them. I've been saving cards from parties and birthdays past and can't wait to add them to a space. Unfortunately, this will have to wait until we move as I've crammed all I can into our beautiful 'Chateau Shoe Box'...

{Auto Viewing}

I just came across this mind blowing image and couldn't resist sharing it with you. This Detroit theatre began it's life in 1929 and is now a car park. Pretty enchanting!

{Love thy Sofa}

There is nothing more lovely than a beautifully shaped sofa welcoming you to rest! A sofa can make or break a room, in my opinion. You have the age old argument of comfort versus shape, vintage versus modern. For me, it has to be a beautiful shape, adorned by luscious fabric with a stack of textured cushions.  What wins your vote?

I have been building up these images for a while and couldn't wait to share them with you....

{Me, Myself and I}

I thought I'd start a blog. However, I've always been told it's rude not to introduce myself. So...hi, hello, bonjour, I'm Hana and I live with my boyfriend, Hincks and our Pug, Curious George (aka Chunk). It's lovely to 'meet' you.

I have an active mind. I love feeding my imagination through many different mediums. I have started this sketchbook so that I can share my ideas & dreams. Who knows, we might even bounce ideas between one another? Whilst gaining enlightenment on subjects for this virtual diary, I realised that I find so many things exhilarating that I can't just pin point one area to specialise on. You must be asking yourselves what I am sure of though, right? Well, the one thing I do know is that I want you to relish each post as much as I enjoy exploring it for the both of us. I'd also love to hear what you beautiful people have to say about it.

BOOM! First post complete, that was not as nerve-wracking as I thought it might be. Stay tuned, guys and gals - It's about to get hot in here!
